Description
The Sirena Biological Station, a hidden gem in Corcovado, offers visitors a chance to see various wildlife. Monkeys, coatis, wild pigs, tapirs, and macaws often gather in groups, making the experience exciting.
The adventure starts at the charming port of Sierpe around 7:00 a.m. A 2.5-hour boat ride through the Sierpe River’s mangroves takes you to the ocean and then to Sirena Station. Once at Sirena, visitors can join a guided trek on a network of trails that lasts about 3 to 4 hours. Lunch is served in the park.
Depending on the weather, the return trip is usually around 2 or 3 p.m. This excursion is perfect for those who love wildlife or adventure. It promises a satisfying day on the boat, with 5 hours on the water.
You must reserve this tour in advance with the national park. Please let us know your preferred date so we can check availability. You can also check available dates online to join the tour, even if you’re traveling alone.
