Description

The Sirena Biological Station, a hidden gem in Corcovado, offers visitors a chance to see various wildlife. Monkeys, coatis, wild pigs, tapirs, and macaws often gather in groups, making the experience exciting.

The adventure starts at the charming port of Sierpe around 7:00 a.m. A 2.5-hour boat ride through the Sierpe River’s mangroves takes you to the ocean and then to Sirena Station. Once at Sirena, visitors can join a guided trek on a network of trails that lasts about 3 to 4 hours. Lunch is served in the park.

Depending on the weather, the return trip is usually around 2 or 3 p.m. This excursion is perfect for those who love wildlife or adventure. It promises a satisfying day on the boat, with 5 hours on the water.
